Kharif crops
Kharif crops are sown in Kharif season. This season starts before the rainy season and ends before the Winter season. In the meantime crops are sown in Kharif crops, it is said to have a variety of Crops. For the Kharif crops, hot and sour weather during the sowing season and relatively low temperatures and dry weather are necessary during the harvesting season.
Kharif is the word of the Arabic language, we know it by the name of autumn. the word Kharif is coming from the Mughal empire and all Indians like to speak it in the name of purchase.
Sowing Time of Kharif Crops
Kharif crops are sown in North India in the month of September. Crops are grown in India but also Pakistan, Bangladesh. it is sown in the summer season, it is sown in the last of June and it is harvested before October. In India’s South East and Bangladesh, the monsoon is the first rain in June, which is there is sowing of Kharif crops in June, along with this rain in India’s Best Cost, Maharashtra, and Pakistan, in the month of June, So sowing of Crops is sown in the month of May, June, and July.
the temperature for the sowing of Kharif crops
The minimum temperature for the sowing of Kharif crops should be 15° C to 19° C and the favorable temperature would be 32° C to 36° C and the maximum temperature should be 37° C to 45° C.
Selection of sowing Kharif crops
Different types of crops are sown in the Kharif season. Selection of crops is selected as per the fertility of the elderly and the Monsoon Rainfall of the area. In areas where the rainfall is high, the crops wanting more water are sown on it. Rainfall is up to 150cm where less water-seeking crops are sown where the average rainfall occurs, both types of crops can be sown.

Kharif crops major production for 2018-19
01st June to 12th September 2018 has been 8% lower than Long Period Average (LPA).Total Kharif rice production of is estimated at 99.24 million tonnes. The total production of Nutri / coarse cereals in the country has decreased to 33.13 million tonnes as compared to 33.89 million tonnes during the 2017-18. Production of Maize is expected to be 21.47 million tonnes which are higher by 1.23 million tonnes than that of last year’s production of 20.24million tonnes. Further, this is more than 4.40 million tonnes than the average production of maize during the last five years.
The total production of Kharif pulses is estimated at 9.22 million tonnes which is lower by 0.12
million tonnes than the last year’s production of 9.34 million tonnes. However, kharif pulses
estimated production is 2.67 million tonnes more than the last five years average production.
